31 Days: Stop.

This is Day 20 of the 31 Days of Small series. 

When the world feels way too busy and you feel incredibly small. 

When life starts to feel a little too heavy.  

When your calendar is screaming at you.  

When you feel like you are rushing from place to place and not able to get settled. 

When you can't seem to get caught up anywhere with anything nor anybody. 

When you feel like you can't breathe and the tension hits your shoulders and head and back and chest. 

When you feel on the verge of a meltdown and can't stop the tears and fears at night. 

When everyone is losing their sanity on social media and you'd like to unfriend the entire world. 

When every time you turn around it's more bad news. 

When you just want to have a baby, a marriage, a relationship. 

When you want the cancer to leave your loved ones alone. 


Stop. 

Push back against the noise.  
Quiet the voices.
Refuse to allow those people to affect your mood. 
Choose to be a better person.
Take control of what you can actually control, and let the rest of it go. 

I think it's time we ebbed our flow.
