104.5 Degrees Under the Arm
That was Lily's temp. last night at 8:06pm.
FYI--when you take a temp under the arm you add one degree.
So her temp. was actually 105.5
I freaked.
We threw her in the tub with cool water.
Called the doctor and went to the clinic.
They believe it's strep and eye infection.
I'm overwhelmed between work and family responsibilities. I'll blog later..
Oh goodness me! Ava didn't come Monday because her mom said on Saturday she spiked a temp like that too. Dr. said it was some kind of virus on top of an ear infection. She was better by Tuesday. Hopefully Lily's will be a quick recovery too. Did it just happen all of a sudden? Or was she warm and fussy during the day? I will be keeping a watch on Silas, just in case. Hang in there! The semester is coming to a close and Christmas break will be here.

ReplyDeleteShe has been sickly acting since Monday when Chris took her to the doctor. They assumed it was the same virus Molly had last week. We weren't alarmed all week when her temp was 102-103, but when it spiked crazy high it was scary. She is very fussy, very sleepy, has a nasty eye, runny nose, and the runs. Not fun.
