At the moment, it's a struggle. During Sunday afternoon nap time for quite a while my husband and I would ask each other several marriage-building sort of questions, and then spend some time in prayer. The results were impressive. We haven't been holding to that schedule for the last couple of Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1723766396043697086.post-31087232166875644552011-01-29T13:44:23.124-05:002011-01-29T13:44:23.124-05:00Wow, wow, wow... I have initiated it a couple of times and they are the only times we have prayed together (other than a blessing before our meal). We are both very shy about the praying out loud... However, I think I am going to make this my goal for this week. For us to at least pray Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1723766396043697086.post-84886419987521548292011-01-29T10:45:09.977-05:002011-01-29T10:45:09.977-05:00Whew you hit precisely what's eating at me and...Whew you hit precisely what's eating at me and has been for years and especially lately. As the kids have gradually become more independent and the homework demands more of our time its becoming more frequent that we barely get their prayers said much less a devotion time..I blame myself and feel guilty when I make plans to have a set morning devotion time and don't get further than day Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1723766396043697086.post-34297920475250979982011-01-29T10:11:38.632-05:002011-01-29T10:11:38.632-05:00I don't mind not being anonymous. It is something I have been thinking about recently too--I've already been thinking about starting a morning devotional time with the girls. I have never been a "public pray-er" so it is something I struggle with. Thanks Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01288251768096242164noreply@blogger.com
